The Seychelles’ Coco de Mer is a tree of exceptional value. Found growing on only two islands throughout the 115-island archipelago, the rare palm, whose name means ‘coconut of the sea’, produces the largest and heaviest seed in the world. Prized for its size, weight, and deep mahogany black color, the seed is made lovelier still by the form it echoes: the natural curves of a woman.
